OK, Bridget Jones measured her days in pounds, drinks and cigarettes. We measure our own in terms of eggs and complexity of culinary creation. As business owners, wives and mothers, we constantly scramble through the countless work, spousal maintenance and motherly tasks necessary to get through each day. So we often ask each other as a gauge: “Is this a two-egg, over easy day?” Or, “Are you having a ten-egg proscuitto and asiago frittata day?” The more eggs, the more ingredients, the more crazy the day, and the more we’re scrambling to keep our lives together..Christa
